TRUCK CHAIN CLASS DEMOLITION DERBY RULES
1. Any year 2wd, ½ ton or ¾ ton pick-up, van, s.u.v or 4wd with front driveshaft removed allowed. 2. No cutting, welding, bolting or bending of frame or body allowed except wheel wells and bumpers may be cut or bent to clear tires. NO REINFORCMENTS! Bumpers must be stock for vehicles make model and year. 3. 2 chains per door seam allowed. Drivers door may be welded shut, and have safety brace. Brace cannot exceed 6 in. past the door seams, and must be visible. 4. Shifters may be located on floor, with hole cut for clearance. 5. Tailgates must be chained in 6 spots with 2 of them to the frame or bumper, or be taken off. 6. Up to four ½” bolts may hold box and cab together. 4 extra bolts holding cab to frame must be used for drivers safety. No extra bolting of box allowed. 7. Gas tank must be securely mounted and covered in the center-front of box close to the cab or back seat area. Gas line must be steel through box and cab, and through the fire wall. 8. Only 1 battery allowed. 9. Hood may be fastened with up to 6 chains. 10. Welded or Posi type rear ends allowed. 11. Dash may be removed only if replaced with a dash bar, not to exceed 3 in. diameter. A safety bar behind the seat is mandatory. 12. Any DOT tires are ok, doubles are ok. 13. Drivers window mesh or a safety net and a vertical windshield bar is recommended but cannot exceed 1” in diameter. 14. Exhaust may be through the hood. For questions or other information contact:
